This release of Secret Stash is Moonwake Coffee Roasters’ (San Jose, California) Kokose Kebele! This is a fruit forward naturally processed Ethiopian that is berry forward, sweet, and is a representation of classic natural processing. When hot, this coffee is super red and blue fruit forward and has a really creamy and sweet body. Once cooled, the red fruits become much more structured and a crispy pomegranate begins to pop! This is a great example of a well processed natural where you get a heavier body and loud fruits but without too much “funk.” It also is refreshing to feature a modern representation of simpler processing in today’s landscape of advanced processing so I really hope you enjoy this release!
