We're re-releasing this expressive Kenyan coffee from our Freezer collection! The Kianyangi factory sources ripe cherries from 950 smallholder farms in Kenya's Embu region. The coffees are graded and sorted by density twice before going into fermentation and prior to being washed and soaked under the Gatomboya stream, bringing out its vibrant flavors. Grown in rich volcanic soil, this coffee boasts punchy acidity and a juicy sweetness. Expect notes of blackcurrant, black tea, and plum in every sip.

What is freezer coffee and why do we offer it?
Freezer coffee refers to the practice of storing coffee beans in the freezer to preserve their freshness and flavor for an extended period. This method helps in slowing down the degradation process, ensuring that the coffee maintains its aromatic and taste profiles, just as it was on the day it was roasted.
When we discover an exceptional batch of coffee, we seize the opportunity to reserve more for our community, ensuring access to these gems at the best value. By carefully freezing these select batches, we not only preserve their peak freshness but also extend the chance for you to experience these unique/limited coffees. It's our way of cherishing and sharing the best finds with you.
