Delicate florals, berries, tropical acidity, peach, clean

This is a beautiful expression of washed Kenyan coffee with an elegant presentation of acidity and layering. We taste soft florals, clean tropical acidity, and a sweet finish. When the cup cools, the acidity becomes more defined with a berry and peach acidity peeking through. The acidity then becomes very harmonious with the florals while each component remains structured. This is just a great example of floral and clean washed Kenyan coffees.

For best results, we suggest you rest this coffee for at least 3 weeks before brewing! This specific expression should taste great 5-6+ weeks off roast too.

From Prodigal:

Kaliluni Factory exclusively handles Kaliluni farmer's co-op coffees. The co-op is also part of the larger Machackos Co-op Union which provides milling support and training assistance to members. Farmers deliver fresh cherry to the factory the same say of picking, where it is sorted and pulped. The pulped coffee then ferments for just 16-18 hours, enough for mucilage removal. Then the coffee is washed, dried, graded again, and milled for export.
