This fruity and clean Chiroso comes from producer Fabio Nelson! We've found this coffee to be very vibrant with bright notes of strawberry and clean citrus in the finish. This is a coffee that represents a more vibrant and tropical version of Chiroso, which generally has high sweetness and body. This coffee also has nice intensity in acidity and provides a structured and layered strawberry acidity that when cooled is tied to a citrus note.

As with all Apollon's Gold roasts, please let this coffee rest! We've found fantastic results resting coffee for at least 45 days before brewing and have even found better performance day 70-90 off roast!

This summer we tried Chiroso for the first time, and it quickly became one of our favorite new varietals. So when we had the chance to get our hands on a new, high potential Chiroso, we jumped on it.

This cultivar in particular is native to the Urrao region, and has a delicious intensity and exceptional vibrancy that really surprised us for a classic washed coffee.

Expect a very vibrant and juicy guava in the front with a clean, sweet, and bright strawberry throughout, finishing with a refreshing tangerine citrus aftertaste.
