Starting 2023 we released a small batch of Brian's favorite coffees to the xBloom community. Everyone loved it and had been asking him for recommendations ever since. (Re)Introducing "Brian's Secret Stash" - a curated coffee subscription featuring truly unique and interesting coffees, perfect if you are looking for an adventure.
We'd like to think Brian's Secret Stash as a ticket to a global coffee adventure, offering a platform for lesser-known roasters to shine and providing you with a whimsical journey through the world of specialty coffee, where every delivery is a cup never tasted before, a delightful surprise waiting to be discovered.

With our subscription or Roast-to-Order, you're in control of what and when you receive your coffee. Our service ensures you'll always have a steady supply of xPods filled with freshly roasted coffee beans delivered right to your door. For subscriptions, simply choose your preferred coffee or collections, and select how often you want it delivered - biweekly, or monthly.

El Salvador La Reforma Geisha Natural
This release for Secret Stash is a super unique naturally processed El Salvador gesha from Intelligentsia. This is one of the first times I have ever tasted gesha grown in El Salvador and this expression is fruit forward, sweet, and floral. I taste stone fruits, juniper, bergamot, and sweet nutty El Salvador terroir undertones. There is fantastic structure and the body of this coffee is tactile and sweet. When cooled, the cup really reminds me of a washed panama gesha profile with the bergamot and jasmine! Please let this rest for at least 3-4 weeks for best results. You can also push this coffee into the 1:18 range and it’ll hold up. *Fun fact, the very first release of Secret Stash a few years back was a wonderful Juan Martin Gesha from Intelligentsia!

I'm unable to give any opinion as I never received this item.
For some reason my sub only fulfilled once last month and skipped the second order that was originally scheduled for the 26th, but now shows next order isn't till the 7th.
Plus the website has the current Ethiopia Tagel Alemayehu as the title, but the information is still for the previous Modcup Tres Dragones Natural Colombia - CGLE
The Tres Dragones I did like and went to order more, but it sold out, so I ordered the previous San Jerónimo Miramar and a bag of Rodrigo Sanchez - Mango instead on the 23rd, but it hasn't shipped yet even though it was listed as in stock and would ship in 2 business days.
I had also used the credit given for a previous mis-shipment for a different coffee than what was invoiced.
To look at my sub history, the majority of the invoices for my subs are incorrect for what was actually ordered and shipped, so when I have a bag of pods without a date tag on it I can't match it with an invoice to get an approximate roast date, and even then it could be anywhere from fresh roasted to 8 weeks old when it was shipped.
And not to sound like a whiner, I'd like to mention that quality control on xpods has been terrible for a while.
I have around 60 pods that are basically unusable due to filters being shoved in at odd angles, and some have even been torn in the bottom causing cups full of grounds that I've had to use the Omni dripper and filters to filter the cup a second time, or just use…

I really like Brian's Youtube segments on the upcoming secret stash pods. There is a lot of details that you miss by just ordering and hoping for the best. If you get the Studio you are likely a coffee geek and the more information the better. I would like to see a way to pull the pod recipe off of the cards and on to the phone app. The phone app is good but does not seem to pull in pod recipes when using the included cards.
