This week’s secret stash is our last Secret Stash release of the year and comes from Kaveri coffee (Berkeley, CA)! This is a yeast fermented anaerobic natural San Ramon from Chikmaglur that has notes of Strawberry, Honey, and a brown sugar finish. This coffee is a great example of the processing techniques producers in India are tapping into and how far Indian coffee has come. I suggest you brew this coffee and let it cool. I get a round presentation of red fruit acidity and a heavy/syrupy body found in Indian coffees. This coffee is sweetness forward and the recipe I made specifically highlights the acidity while retaining the Indian coffee flavor profile!
