We have found this coffee to be fruit forward with red fruit notes of cherry, raspberry, and hibiscus. We're happy to be featuring coffees like this as they represent stellar processing and unique varietals. When the cup is hot, we find watermelon aromatics with sweet red fruit notes. Once the coffee cools, a structured cherry and raspberry note starts to appear with the coffee finishing very round and sweet! This might also be one of the first times you’ve ever tasted the Ombligon varietal. We have found Ombligons to be intense tasting, reminding us of loud pink bourbons but often skewing towards deeper red fruits and chocolate notes. This coffee is so expressive that it can be brewed in a variety of methods and we suggest you experiment! Read about Ombligon and this coffee's processing here. Ombligon, a rare Ethiopian landrace variety whose cherry has a "belly," hence its Spanish name meaning belly button, is found locally. Before we bought these machines we would spend time doing pour-overs manually, which was good. But we ended up getting frustrated after a few years of doing this since we'd not have time to stand there and wait for each pour to drain or we'd want to make smaller batches. There were also times were it would take time to dial-in the grind settings for new batches of beans. So when we first heard about the Xbloom and its ease of use we were sold. We like that we can bring our own beans, but also that they offer the pods which gives us a fun and easy way to try new things. Best of all, for us, is that it's single serving so it's easy to make one-off cups at the touch of a button. Highly recommend!

I love this machine, it's not perfect but it is close.
I read hundreds of reviews, the *** and the good ones. What I have seen is that a lot of the negative issues have been addressed by Xbloom. Like the filter basket, my filter baskets seats level. One review said you could only pour a 10 oz coffee but you can pour up to a 375ML coffee and that is 12.6 oz cup. Also, it is easy if you want to add even more water at the end of the cycle, just a push of the button and add as much water as you want.
The water storage on the back of the machine is small but you have the option of plumbing in a water line to the back of the machine. I purchased the xbloom regulator valve kit, it's a little pricey at $129.00 but it made it real easy to install. One note, when you turn the water on and try to vent the air out thru the regulator it will let water go thru the regulator valve, the ebloom must have a pump inside that pulls the water thru the valve. I vented the air out before I attach the water line to the regulator valve. It is nice not to have to keep adding water to the back of the unit.
My wife thought I was crazy to spend $600 bucks on a coffee machine, but she loves the taste of her morning coffee now. She now doesn't think it's crazy anymore!
It's real easy to use the app and program your coffee procedure. I do wish you could save my coffee recipe on the machine so i didn't have to use my phone all the time or be able to program a card for it and then my wife could make her own…

This is one of these purchases you think twice about AFTER you submit the order. After the point of no return. That was me. But…once I got it, and it set it up, and used it for a few days. I was happy with the buy. I bought this and brought it into my office. It’s been here almost 6 weeks and now I’ve been forced to show 3 other people how to use it because they like it so much. The owner of the company saw it, tasted the same coffee he batch brews in his Nordic branded dripper and bought one of these. The ease of making good coffee makes this a no brainer.
There are a few things I would like to see on the next version, but overall happy and would not hesitate to recommend. I will say on this review that I would argue it’s not a perfect pour over, (no self-righteous coffee snob would disagree), but it’s pretty darn close. And considering it’s automatic, (and completely customizable), this is the very best second option.
Go ahead and buy it.

As a dad of two, convenience is everything — and this machine delivers. It’s incredibly easy to use, and honestly, it brews better coffee than I do. Mornings are smoother, and coffee time feels like a treat. I’m seriously wondering why I didn’t buy this earlier!
