Love the physical design, simple interface, the tactile knurled nobs. It's really a piece of functional art.

But what I love most is the coffee it makes. A clean, fresh cup, to my exact specifications.

Competing single serve all in one machines are dirty (they're never fully clean) and sometimes have mishaps with brewing, grinding, measuring. The xBloom is like a high end piece of lab equipment in comparison. I absolutely love it.

Despite the high reviews, I think this xBloom Studio is *still* underrated and is the gold standard for anyone wanting consistency and repeatability in pour over coffee. The ability to sync beans, grind size, water temperature, flow rate, number of pours, and total ratio from user to user is unmatched by anything else on the market. I can get the same beans as someone from across the world and get as close to the same experience as they do, making it MUCH easier to compare. When getting new beans from local roasters that don't have an xBloom profile, dialing it becomes a lot easier and way less of a hassle. On top of this, I can now push a button, load up beans, hit another button and walk away, then come back a few minutes later to a solid pour over cup of coffee, freeing me up to do the rest of my morning routine (i.e. feed the cats).

I'm so happy with this purchase. I have been pouring around 5 cups a day, different coffees, with and without grinder, so happy with the results every single time. The mobile app UX is not the best but once you find where things are it's super easy to pick, modify and create recipes. You can also keep 3 presets that you can use without NFC or the mobile app. More than enough for your regular coffee.

The scales are good, not much room to operate but it keeps the overall size of the machine compact.

Time-wise, it takes no time to pre-heat, the whole process takes as long as the recipe needs, even when using the grindr it's super fast.

The only thing that bothers me a little bit are the constraints around the size of the containers you can use, but again, it is a compromise that helps keeping the overall size of the machine pretty compact.

The water tank is small-ish, it serves exactly 3 cups for me, no complains there really.

TL;DR I have a growing manual disability and this machine doesn't care.

Long story: I have a progressively advancing disability and i'm no small fan of good coffee. Recognizing the quality of a proper pour over and my future disability, I set out to find what would allow me to accomplish this despite that. This machine answered literally every question I had and more. After only two weeks, I can safely say it's stepped up my coffee game beyond my expectations. The control and the ability to repeat a successful cup leaves no excuses, but my own lack of skill, for an excellent cup every time.

I can't emphasize the importance of this machine's gift of making high grade cup despite my growing disability. It removes a lot of limitations in a life that is already accumulating a lot of limitations. This is not just a functional reflection - it has an emotional impact and it allows me to give the people that I love something I have always loved to give them.

One small bit of feedback is in the app - it would make it much easier and usable if you could input text parameters in the measurement fields such as grammage, volume, etc. Rather than being forced to use the sliders to adjust these measurements.
