Collection: Rare Finds

I really like Brian's Youtube segments on the upcoming secret stash pods. There is a lot of details that you miss by just ordering and hoping for the best. If you get the Studio you are likely a coffee geek and the more information the better. I would like to see a way to pull the pod recipe off of the cards and on to the phone app. The phone app is good but does not seem to pull in pod recipes when using the included cards.

I’ve been wanting to try a well extracted ultra-light roast coffee for quite some time, experimenting around on my own with a variety of grind sizes, extraction times, brew methods, and temperature points. I was never able to get anything I was close to happy with.

So, having a recipe handed to me that the xBloom could do automatically has been a life saver. I am confident that this is about the best expression of this coffee I will get and know that, while not plain ***, it’s not quite the winner that my palate wants. I think I want something a bit closer to medium-light roast.

I would highly encourage anyone who wants to experiment with light roasts to try this. It’s a great representation and you can find out for yourself what you think!
