xBloom turns five this September, and we’re celebrating with Offline Blue, a new color for Studio inspired by early internet screens and the creative spaces that grew alongside them. Bright, bold, and unmistakably blue, it brings a new expression to the Studio lineup.
The Story Behind Offline Blue
Where did this blue come from?
Offline Blue is built around a simple idea: “Disconnect to Reconnect.” For xBloom, that doesn’t mean rejecting technology. It’s an invitation to step out of the constant stream of digital life for a moment and give your attention to something tangible.
Between work messages, social feeds, and everything else competing for our attention, there is almost always something asking us to look, respond, or keep scrolling. Simple rituals offer a counterpoint. Reading a book, going for a run, putting on a record, or making coffee gives us a reason to stay with one thing for a while.
That quieter side of digital life shaped Offline Blue. The color takes cues from the glow of a screen late at night, the optimism of the early internet, and the creative spaces where technology and design meet.
Born from the digital world, Offline Blue is a reminder to make a little room for the moments that bring us back to what’s in front of us.
A Blue of Its Own
Blue has many sides. It can feel calm and familiar, but also crisp, precise, and distinctly modern. We see it in open skies and deep water, in design and architecture, and in the digital spaces that have become part of everyday life.
For Offline Blue, we looked at the blues around us: the glow of a screen late at night, the bright blues of early internet interfaces, and the creative spaces shaped by technology and design.
We wanted a blue with presence.
Offline Blue is bright and saturated, vivid in brighter light and deeper as the light softens. It gives Studio a distinctly digital character while still feeling at home in the spaces where we live, work, and make coffee.
If blue has traditionally represented calm, Offline Blue is about choosing where to place your attention. In a day filled with incoming information, it is a reminder to set distractions aside for a moment and focus on what is in front of you.

Marking Five Years with Offline Blue and More
Five years ago, xBloom began with its first pour-over coffee machine. Since then, we’ve continued to refine our products, improve the experience, and explore what a cup of coffee can bring together.
From brewing equipment, coffee, and recipes to the xBloom App, content, and services, a growing community of farmers, roasters, baristas, and coffee lovers has become part of the journey. Today, xBloom is more than a machine. It’s a growing specialty coffee ecosystem, bringing the craft and expertise behind every step from bean to cup into every brew.
Looking ahead, there’s still much for us to learn and explore. We’ll keep listening, refining, and learning alongside the coffee community, while finding new ways to make the journey from bean to cup more connected.
