The xBloom paper filters are priced the same as the Kalita brand filters and are superior to the Kalita filters. The xBloom filters perfectly fit the Omni Dripper and hold their shape during the brew process. Kalita brand filters aren't as precisely made and have occasionally crimped during the grinding process allowing coffee grinds to miss the filter, consequently spoiling the brew. Also, the sides of the Kalita filters will occasionally collapse during the pouring process resulting in an inferior cup. Have never experienced either of these problems with the xBloom paper filters.
