This release from SEY is a lovely expression of Kenyan coffee bursting with bright red fruits and structured acidity! We’ve really been enjoying Kenyan releases these past few weeks due to their expressive nature and classic presentation. This release from Kamavindi Estate is high definition with lovely blackcurrant, crisp and sweet grapefruits, and a rooibos tea like body. When cooled, there is fantastic structure of red fruit acidity and cleanly presented notes. We suggest you taste this when near room-temp.
For best results, we recommend you rest this coffee for at least 4+ weeks!
From SEY:
This is our first micro lot of the season from Kamavindi. Kamavindi is one of our main collaborators in Kenya, and the center of our ongoing exploration of Kenyan varieties and nano lot separations. In the cup we find rooibos, candied grapefruit, and blackcurrant.
