Geisha Slow Jams brings together exceptional Geisha lots from some of Proud Mary’s longest standing producer relationships in Panama and Honduras.

Rather than choosing between the pristine clarity of washed or the lush fruit of naturally processed geishas, Proud Mary blends both. Coffees from the Hartmann family in Panama join lots from producers Benjamin Paz, Nahun Fernandez, and Ovidio Gomez in Honduras, creating a layered and complex expression of one of specialty coffee’s most celebrated varieties.

When hot, the cup opens with intensely floral aromatics followed by sweet tropical fruits. As the cup cools, berries in the form of red and tropical fruits start to appear. We find ripe mangos, bright and round red fruits, and juicy citrus. As the cup cools, the cup becomes very structured with a distinctive black tea note and silky body. There is fantastic complexity and depth in the cup showcasing the expressive fruits found in the naturally processed Panamanian geisha and the structured florality and tropical fruits of the Honduran geishas. This is an incredibly dynamic coffee that showcases each region distinctively at every temperature.
