This is an exciting Ethiopian coffee release from producer Boneya Robe! We taste vibrant tropical acidity in the form of peaches, a watermelon-like sweetness, and a tea-like finish. There is good intensity and articulation of acidity but also lots of delicate notes. When cooled, there is a beautiful structure of acidity with strong layering and clean defined notes. This is a proper presentation of high altitude washed Ethiopian coffee and well processed coffee! We hope you really enjoy this release.

This is a very special single-producer lot from Boneya Robe. He has a very small garden at an extreme altitude in Gedeb. Only the ripest cherries were selected, and the processing was meticulous. In the cup we find ripe peach, watermelon, and sweet tea.
