Wholesale Freight & Logistics Policy

Last Updated: 2026/11/05

This Wholesale Freight & Logistics Policy outlines the fulfillment frameworks, order volume thresholds, freight handling procedures, and delivery guidelines applicable to commercial purchase orders placed through our wholesale portal.

Commercial Delivery Notice

Wholesale shipments are executed exclusively via commercial freight networks or registered ground couriers. Commercial buyers are responsible for ensuring appropriate receiving infrastructure (including unloading facilities and access) at designated delivery locations.

1. Order Thresholds & Minimum Quantities (MOQ)

To qualify for wholesale tier pricing, orders must meet specified quantity or order value requirements:

  • · Hardware Minimums: Commercial espresso and brewing hardware require a minimum order volume of two (2) units per purchase order, or a cumulative order value exceeding €1,000 / $1,000.
  • · Consumables & Accessories: Coffee pods, whole bean packs, and brewing accessories must be purchased in full master cartons (case packs). Master carton specifications are listed on individual product details.

2. Fulfillment Methods & Pallet Freight (LTL)

Shipments are routed based on total consignment volume, gross weight, and packaging fragility:

  • · Parcel Ground: Smaller sample orders, replacement parts, or mixed accessory consignments under 150 lbs / 70 kg are dispatched via standard tracked ground carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, DPD). Transit times generally range between 3 to 5 business days post-dispatch.
  • · Palletized Freight (LTL): Hardware orders exceeding bulk volume limits are shrink-wrapped, banded, and palletized on standard Euro or US pallets. Full or partial pallet shipments travel via scheduled freight lines (LTL) with estimated transit windows of 5 to 8 business days depending on transit lane geography.
  • · Freight Dispatch Notifications: Once loaded, our logistics system issues an electronic dispatch confirmation containing carrier contact details, Pro / Tracking numbers, and scheduled Bill of Lading (BOL) references.

3. Receiving Requirements & Accessorial Services

Standard commercial freight rates assume curbside or loading dock delivery to standard zoned commercial facilities during regular business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday):

  • · Loading Dock Access: Delivery sites must accommodate semi-truck trailers (48-53 ft). If receiving locations lack an elevated unloading dock or on-site forklift equipment, a hydraulic liftgate service must be requested during checkout.
  • · Accessorial Surcharges: Supplemental carrier accessorials—such as liftgate unloading, residential or limited-access delivery, inside delivery, or scheduled appointment windows—incur supplementary pass-through fees billed to the consignee.
  • · Redelivery & Demurrage: Delivery attempts obstructed by site inaccessibility, absence of authorized personnel, or refusal without cause will result in carrier redelivery fees, terminal storage charges, and associated administrative penalties.

4. Warehouse Pick-Up & Third-Party Carrier Collections

Direct customer collection (Will-Call / EXW warehouse pickups) is supported from our designated regional distribution hubs upon advance arrangement:

  • · Booking Pick-Up Appointments: Buyer or designated contract freight forwarders must schedule collection slots at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to dispatch. Unscheduled pick-up attempts cannot be serviced.
  • · Release Authorization: The collecting driver or freight representative must present an official Order Confirmation, Release Number, and a compliant Bill of Lading (BOL) prior to cargo release.
  • · Liability Transfer: For customer-arranged collections, custody, transit insurance, and all risks of loss or external damage transfer irrevocably to Buyer once items are handed over at our loading dock.

5. Receiving Inspection & Damage Reporting

Mandatory Delivery Receipt Exception Noting

Do not sign the carrier Delivery Receipt (DR) or Proof of Delivery (POD) cleanly without verifying external condition. Once signed clear without exception notation, freight carriers reject transit damage liability.

  • · Visible Outer Damage: If pallets exhibit crushed corners, torn shrink film, broken banding, or punctured cartons, buyer must record clear notes (e.g., "Pallet damaged / Shrink wrap broken / Carton crushed") explicitly on the driver's delivery manifest before signing.
  • · 48-Hour Notification Window: Written notice of transport damage or carton shortages must be submitted to wholesale support within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt, accompanied by clear photos of outer packaging, pallet tags, serial plates, and damaged merchandise.
  • · Concealed Damage: Concealed internal damages detected upon unpackaging intact outer cartons must be reported in writing within five (5) business days of delivery. All original packaging materials must be held intact until inspection or carrier claim resolution.
