Many Burundi coffees have a spice/earthiness to them but this coffee instead offers a very clean and crispy acidity! We find this expression of Burundi coffee unique in that there is a bright guava note and rose florality. This coffee is a great example of clean and classic washed process highlighting a terroir forward expression of Burundian coffees. This coffee will really open up 60+ days off of roast and we recommend you push this coffee hard in extraction. 

 

 

From Apollon's Gold:

We find this coffee to be pretty clean and crisp, and almost completely free from any earthiness but with just enough for it to be a very pleasant addition to the cup.

In the cup, we find a bright guava note in the forefront which is quickly followed by a sweet rose floral, and finished by a bold and sweet prune through to the aftertaste.
