This is a fascinating expression of Chiroso! It tastes like a Kenyan coffee mixed together a Chiroso and Pink Bourbon. We taste bright tropical acidity and sweetness found in Chiroso with an intensity that you may find in SL28/SL34 Kenyans and Pink Bourbon. There is fantastic structure in acidity once cooled and we find bright stonefruits and tropical acidity. The level of cleanliness is high with layered presentation of acidity. This one will really open up across the following weeks!

 

 

We recommend you rest this coffee for at least 3-4 weeks for best results!

William Ortiz is a new addition to our ongoing exploration of Huila. He is currently growing Caturra, Pink Bourbon, and Chiroso—and this harvest, we purchased both his Pink Bourbon and Chiroso selections. We look forward to visiting William and his farm on our next trip to Huila.
