That's not correct. At all......

This is a bright blend with acidic and fruity notes. The beans are very obviously a light roast, as no oils are present on the outside of the bean. There is some caramel, and a short finish. The body is very light, again, this is not a dark roast coffee.

I had some fun gave a cup to my nephew, who works for a coffee roasting boutique, and he immediately called it out as a light roast. He did say it was a good one, and fresh, but when I showed him the description, he laughed.

My problem with XBloom is that I've now purchased over $120 worth of their Xpods...all claiming to be a dark roast. None have been. I think this is my last order, which is a shame. I can't waste any more money on this.

My nephew suggested just using his beans & recommended blend, which are what I would call an "Italian Roast". I prefer something well-short of a french roast, but darker than a medium. And I save money this way!

This is my favorite coffee. I have tried others but I always come back to this. I drink it every morning and look forward to it. It is just the right strength and such a good flavor. I hope these ladies continue to make this and much more for a long time.
