"This lot comes from Wondefrash’s Hambella Station, his only washing station and a model of careful craftsmanship. Sitting at 2,300 meters above sea level, the station receives cherries from around 40 nearby smallholder farmers, each growing heirloom landrace varieties rooted in generations of tradition.

After pulping, the coffee ferments naturally in large cement tanks where microbes work their quiet magic. The beans are then washed clean and dried slowly on raised African beds for 8–12 days, allowing flavors to settle and refine. The result is a cup that captures the soul of Ethiopian washed coffee — clarity, structure, and effortless drinkability.
