This might be one of the first times you've tasted a Rwandan coffee of this caliber! There's tons of layered acidity, citrus, baked spices, and a unique stonefruit linger that we find in Rwandan coffees. We find this expression to be fascinating with beautiful structure and clarity of notes. When cooled, the citrus acidity is super bright and there's a darker plum note that lingers long on your palate. The acidity is also extends very deep with a lot of detail and articulation. 


We recommend you rest this coffee for at least 3-4 weeks before brewing for optimal results. This is a coffee that will also have even more structure closer to 2 months off roast!

Coffees from around Lake Kivu in western Rwanda are special. This region produces some of the most distinct profiles in coffee, and for that reason, we love working with them. In the cup we find excellent density, plum, orange, and baking spices.
