This year's Valentine's Day release is a blend of coffees from El Vergel Estate roasted by Pair Cupworks (Mesa, AZ)! The ripest coffee cherries are picked and undergo a honey process and then are fermented with strawberries and yeast for 5 days, creating a dynamic and sweet profile. We taste bright and sweet strawberries, milk chocolate, honey, citrus acidity, followed by a sweet brown sugar finish. When cooled, there is fantastic structure of red fruits and the cup becomes even sweeter. This is an incredible example of advanced processing in coffee!
