Kaveri Coffee is the Bay Area’s first woman-owned Indian Coffee Company. Tanya Rao (Owner and Roaster) grew up in Bangalore, India where her family owned a coffee roasting business. She is proud to continue the coffee legacy of her father and grandfather, and bring high-quality, truly traceable Indian coffee to the U.S. Kaveri's coffees are carefully selected from farms across India and delicately roasted in small batches in Berkeley, California. Tanya’s passion is to showcase the distinctive characters and flavor profiles of Indian coffee, and share the rich cultural stories of the Indian coffee community. The company’s vision is to promote environmental sustainability and conscious consumerism by creating products with love and intention.
