This specific lot comes from Abel Salinas of Finca Arashi and it’s super vibrant and clean. When hot, I get lilac florals, a bright lemon candy acidity, and a sweet tea-like finish. When warm, the structure of acidity is incredibly layered with strong articulation. The lemon acidity is super crisp, followed by cleanly presented lilac florals, all with a long lingering clean finish. This Typica Mejorado leans more on the expressive washed side yet still has many delicate and detailed properties mostly in the florals and tea-like finish.
